Get Online Early
If you want a very specific version of the iPhone XR we don't recommend showing up at 11:59PM (or whatever time it'll be in your region). You'll want to get on early to make sure everything is in order.
If you can manage, we recommend hopping online 30 minutes before pre-orders start in order to ensure everything is good to go on your end.
While you might feel prepared, there's a chance you've overlooked something. And if you don't have everything lined up, there's a chance you'll miss out on the model you want for release day delivery.
We also recommend logging into whatever site you plan to pre-order from ahead of time. This way you're locked in and ready to go.
If you want a very specific iPhone XR model you might want to set an alarm so that you're awake and ready to go when pre-orders start.
If you plan to get some sleep before iPhone XR pre-orders begin make sure you set an alarm so you don't sleep through the start.
Most of you probably know how to set an alarm, but if you don't, simply pull up Control Center (if you own an iPhone) and set an alarm for 11PM-11:30PM Pacific. Again, we recommend giving yourself a 30 minute buffer.
