iOS 12 vs iOS 11: What’s New in iOS 12.3

Published

on

These are the exciting iOS 12.3 features and bug fixes coming to your iPhone and iPad with this newest update including the new Apple TV app and AirPlay 2 as well as smaller changes and important bug fixes.

You don’t need to buy a new iPad mini 5 or upgrade to the latest iPhone to get these new features and bug fixes — you just need to install iOS 12.3.

Apple added Apple News+ in March, and this new update brings more from their media roadmap with an updated Apple TV app as well as AirPlay 2 that will now let you do more with AirPlay and even use it on third-party TVs from Vizio, Sony and others.

Here are the iOS 12.3 features worth upgrading for. This guide to what’s new in iOS 12.3 also includes a look at the new iOS 12 features and how it compares to iOS 11 if you haven’t updated yet.

While this is a major update it isn’t changing the look of iOS on your iPhone or iPad. We’ve been using Screen Time, Siri Shortcuts and also trying out Waze and Google Maps on Apple CarPlay, but now you get more new features. The iOS 12.3 update is free and arrives today for the iPhone and iPad. If your device is on iOS 12, it is a quicker update, if it is on iOS 11 you can upgrade but it will take a little longer.

Here’s what’s new on iOS 12.3 and iOS 12 for the iPhone and iPad.

New Apple TV App

New Apple TV App

Apple delivers a new Apple TV app with iOS 12.3 that includes a ton of new features on your iPhone and that will sync across to your iPad and your Apple TV. If you consume most of your movies and TV on an iOS or tvOS device, this is going to be a major update.

You get access to a new design as well as better curated collections and recommendations based on what you watch and like. You can also now start using Apple TV channels to get subscriptions to HBO, Showtime, Starz and other services in the app so you can stream them or download to watch offline.

If you subscribe to Apple TV Channels with this app you can share that subscription with up to six members of your household using the family sharing feature built into iOS

There is a new kids section that will help you find kid friendly content, but it isn't on the same level as Amazon FreeTime Unlimited. It's still a nice touch for families.

Another new feature is that the app will identify Apple Tvs or AirPlay 2 TVs nearby that you may want to connect to in order to watch a show or movie on.

If you need TV Parts, or mobile phone parts, you can go to https://www.abctay.com. I sold them in this store. It’s very cheap, and the freight is cheap, and the service is good. Basically, if you

have questions ,they will answer you.

I just love the way iOS 12 was designed and developed since it allows a lot of customisations. But now you can enjoy a lot more other third party apps on iOS devices using the tutuapp vip version, download it from https://tutuappvip.xyz/tutuapp-vip-for-ios/

    Thanks & Regards,

Hi, Josh Smith thank you so much for sharing for the great summary. I owned iPhone XS but it’s not working properly, the trending animojis not displaying and sometimes apple pay is not working properly, I’m worried about that, so I’m looking to ios 12.2 models but now I’m happy because ios 12.2 version is released and apple fixed all bugs in iPhones. Keep sharing with us looking for your next article…
