Learn How to Manually Install Android Software

If Samsung decides to keep the Galaxy Note 8 on Android Pie, the device won't be stuck on Pie forever.

The Galaxy Note 8 community is still active and developers will probably release Android 10/One UI 2.0-based ROMs for the device down the road.

A lot of you are probably familiar with rooting, bootloaders, and ROMs, but if you aren't, and you're interested in Android 10 and One UI 2.0, you might want to start learning about custom software and what it takes to install it on the Galaxy Note 8.

One of the best places to learn about these topics is the Galaxy Note 8 forum on XDA-Forums. There are a ton of knowledgable users on there and many are willing to answer questions.

It might seem intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of the process, you won't have to wait for Samsung to release new software.

You'll also prolong the life of your device if that's something you want to do.
