Close Running Apps to Save Battery

When you open way too many apps open on the S7, or any device, performance could drop and battery will drain faster than usual. Android handles tasks quite well, but killing open apps like Navigation or Maps when not in use will save battery.

Simply tap the overlapping rectangle-like button to the left of the dedicated hardware home button. This is the multi-tasking menu key that brings up all currently open or running apps. From here swipe away to close open and currently running apps.

There's also a close-all button which will kill any currently opened and running app. I only do this at night or while at work, otherwise most of these apps will reopen throughout the day while users check Facebook or receive messages, and drain more battery. If you need to close and clear apps, this is how.

Can I also add my spouse to the fingerprint scan? So we’re both able to use the device?

Google Now gets it wrong so often that it is useless. When did you ever hear anyone use it? Never.

I normally do not leave comments, but thank you for this helpful list! It informed me on things I didn’t know my phone could do, such as the SOS feature.
