Some users love the big screen and excellent camera, but don't want all the extras and confusing software. As a result, Samsung has something called "Easy Mode". This is perfect for kids, parents, grandparents, or those that are a little technology challenged and want everything simplified. Easy Mode puts big large icons for the most used things (calls, messages, email, camera, calendar) right on the main screen that are easy to find, and basically turns the phone into a regular flip phone, more than a smartphone. It still has plenty of capabilities it's just, well, easier. Pull down the notification bar and select the gear-shapped settings button, or find the seconds icon in the application tray. Swipe right four times and select the "Personal" column. From here tap on Easy Mode, customize which apps you'd like to use, and hit Done. Let it apply the new system, hit home and enjoy an easier more streamlined experience. This can be further customized by swiping right and adding more apps for quick access, chaging the wallpaper like usual (which we'll explain in a moment) and much more. If you'd like to go back to the original system, just tap Standard mode and reapply it by hitting done, and it will be like it was out of the box. Try this for parents or grandparents. Here is more info, even though it's from the Galaxy S6 the same info applies. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
