10 Things the LG V30 Can Do
Unlock the V30 with Your Face or Voice | |||||||||||

If you're not a fan of the fingerprint scanner, there are a few other methods to unlock your phone. We've seen Face Unlock before, or even Iris scanners and voice unlock, but the implementation in the LG V30 is the best we've seen yet. Whatever LG did, it's amazingly fast and accurate. These are called "Face Print" and "Voice Print" and are exactly what you expect. Once you train your face (or multiple times for improved security) just tap the screen with KnockON or swipe to wake it up. The LG V30 instantly recognizes your face and unlocks. Again, we've seen this before, but it's never very fast. On the LG V30, it's almost instant and works better than any phone on the market. Additionally, you can train your voice and unlock it that way but it's not nearly as secure as a face. | |||||||||||
