Once your Galaxy Note 8 roll out begins, keep your phone charged up. This way, you'll be able to install the Android Oreo update right when the prompt appears, if that's what you want to do.

Most Galaxy Android software updates require you to have 20% of battery charge to complete the installation process.

We recommend keeping a 50% battery charge for Android Oreo because it's a huge upgrade and could take some time to complete.

We also recommend keeping a charger close by once the roll out begins. That way, if your Galaxy Note 8 doesn't have enough charge, you can plug it in to get the installation started.

3/10 – hard drive? Who wrote this? There is no such thing as a phone with a hard drive. You are referring to the phone’s internal storage, as opposed to the external storage (microSD card). But there’s no need to confuse your readers by referring to internal storage as a “hard drive”.

Yes, back up any data not stored on the microSD card. Yes, have all your login credentials ready (this is where a password manager like LastPass can be a real lifesaver). And yes, charge your phone. In fact, the upgrade will download, but will not install unless the phone has at least 80% battery charge. And yes, enjoy the new features!
