The Android 8.1 update might improve your Nexus 5X's performance. It could also give you major headaches. If you're having a great time on Android 8.0, you might want to wait for more Android 8.1 feedback to emerge before making the move. 

We're a few days removed from the Android 8.1 update's release which means we're hearing about the Android 8.1 problems plaguing the Nexus 5X.

Some of these Android 8.1 issues carried over from Android 8.0 Oreo, some of the bugs and problems are brand new.

You'll want to look into these Android 8.1 problems before you download the update on your phone. At the very least, you'll want to wait until you're prepared to fix whatever Android 8.1 throws your way..
