The Galaxy S series' design has mostly stayed the same, for better or worse, for a few years now. That could change with the Galaxy S10. According to DJ Koh, CEO of Samsung’s mobile division, the company will make “very significant” design changes to the Galaxy S series in 2019. One report claims Samsung will utilize a durable ceramic back on some Galaxy S10 models. The ceramic model will reportedly come in black and white. Images of the ceramic black and white Galaxy S10 have leaked out ahead of time. They don't reveal much, but they do help to set proper expectations. New renders also point to a slimmer design with dimensions changing from 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm on the Galaxy S9+ to 157.5 x 75.0 x 7.8mm on the Galaxy S10+. A Galaxy S10 screen protector leak also points to a near bezel-less display. Samsung clearly knows its design scheme has gotten stale so we expect to see some significant tweaks made to this year's models. The image here is from well-known leakster Evan Blass (evleaks) and it purportedly shows three of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S10 models. From left to right we have the Galaxy S10e (formerly known as Galaxy S10 Lite), Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. We expect the Galaxy S10's design to leak out ahead of time so keep an eye out as we push into 2019. | ||||||||||||||||
