The Galaxy S8 gets at least one feature from the new Galaxy S10. Samsung used to prevent Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ users from remapping the Bixby key. That's changed with the arrival of the Galaxy S10. Samsung's rolling out an update that lets you remap the Bixby key and in order to use this feature a few things need to happen. First, you need to be running Android Pie on your Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, or Galay S8 Active. Once you're running Android Pie, you'll need to download the latest update to the Bixby application from the Galaxy Store. After you've done that, head into your Settings. In your Settings, go into Advanced features > Bixby key and you'll notice that you can now set a third-party app to launch with a single or double press of the Bixby key. You can only select one of these. It's a big change and a great reason to install Android Pie soon after it arrives for your phone. | |||||||||||||||||
