10 Best Galaxy Note 8 Screen Protectors

These are the best screen protector for the Galaxy Note 8. We’ll go over why you should buy one, and what to know before you choose tempered glass or a cheaper film. By choosing a high-quality glass protector you can keep your phone looking nice and new, and the screen scratch-free.

With a big 6.3-inch curved display screen protection is highly recommended. Samsung’s phone is durable, but it’s far from scratch-proof. Additionally, the curved edges are more prone to damage than traditional displays.

There are several styles of Note 8 screen protectors available. Some are cheap films while others are expensive tempered glass. Others use a liquid UV curing process for an easy and perfect installation. We’ve found some priced under $8, and others for $12, which is much cheaper than the $200 plus it will cost to replace a damaged display. More popular or reputable brands offer protection too, and some of those cost up to $50 each.

Before we begin, we need to mention that some screen protectors don’t fit the curve of the Galaxy Note 8 as well as expected. As a result, you’ll get a poor experience or have touchscreen sensitivity issues. However, now that we’ve been able to test some and read reviews, we know what works and what doesn’t. As a result, we’ve gathered a list of Galaxy Note 8 screen protectors from brands we know, use and trust. Protection that fits right, and will keep your screen safe.

We recommend investing in a screen protector to keep the big 6.3-inch screen safe on your $950 smartphone. Even spending $7-8 on a cheap film is better than nothing, especially if you don’t keep it in a case. The more expensive models use reinforced and tempered glass. Tempered glass is both scratch and shatter-resistant.

Even if you buy a case, we still suggest getting a screen protector. That’s because a case won’t protect your phone in a purse, from a pocket full of keys, or against life’s daily hazards. We also have one that’s amazingly simple to install for those worried about that process too. So, consider protection from popular brands like GLEP, Spigen, or ZAGG’s InvisibleShield from our roundup below.

Whitestone Dome Glass (Easy Install)

Now that the Galaxy Note 8 has been available for more than a few months we've had a chance to test and try multiple screen protectors.

Our first recommendation is the Whitestone Dome Glass kit. Now don't be overwhelmed by all of this, as the process is actually extremely easy. This company sends you a screen protector, easy installation tray, a liquid for the application, and a UV light that cures the liquid. It sounds more "involved" than other screen protectors, but it's actually incredibly easy. You set it up, let the tray do the work, and use the light to cure the screen protector to your Galaxy Note 8.

This ensures a perfect fit, no gaps, and no touchscreen responsiveness issues like we've seen on the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S7 Edge from prior years. These protectors are extremely popular because they work great, and they're easy to install. Try this first, then keep reading for a few more recommendations.

Cory-Did you actually TRY any of these? Are your “Recommendations” based solely on what companies you are familiar with? It is clear you and the Amazon reviewers do not agree on many of these. Waste of time article.
