We expect to see Apple deliver more power and more storage to supercharge the 2017 Apple TV for gaming. Apple currently offers the Apple TV with 32Gb and 64Gb of storage, but we expect to see at least one bigger storage option for the 2017 Apple TV. This will likely bump up to 128GB of storage. While you can stream a lot of content, you can also download movies and games to the Apple TV, and those can take up a lot of storage space. This is especially true with 4K content. We also expect a better processor to deliver more power or gaming, which could unlock better graphics and smoother gaming. Apple raised the Apple TV app limit to 4GB in January, up from 200MB, which paves the way for better looking games and more immersive experiences. You could get by with 32GB of storage a year ago, but if you plan to game on your Apple TV you should wait. | |||||||||
