If you aren't married to a Galaxy phone, and you find a device you really like at a price you love, don't let the Note 10 hold you back. Most carrier plans allow you to upgrade to a new device after a year when you trade in your phone. So if you were to buy a brand new device now, you'd be able to pick up the Note 10, or another phone, in the first half of next year. There are a bunch of excellent Note 10 alternatives on the market right now. These include the iPhone XS Max, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9+, OnePlus 7, and the Pixel 3 XL.
