The Galaxy Note 10 will support 5G networks. The "5" in the Galaxy Note 10's SM-N975F model number hints at 5G support. Galaxy Note model numbers typically end in "0." A 5G Galaxy Note 10 is also referenced in the Galaxy S10 kernel source as ‘davinci5G’ which hints at a 5G variant of the upcoming flagship. If that isn't enough evidence, Verizon's actually confirmed 5G support for the next Galaxy Note ahead of time. During the company’s Q1 2019 earnings call, Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg stated that the "Note and the Galaxy coming this year will both have 5G." The other device is likely the LG V50 ThinQ. AT&T seemed to confirm 5G support for the Galaxy Note 10 all the way back in December. It didn't call the device out by name but said it plans to offer the device in the second half of 2019. If a 5G-powered device sounds appealing to you, you should think about waiting for the Note 10. | |||||||||||||||||
