Wait For Stunning Stereo Sound (In the Display)

Everything is slowly being integrated into the screen in an effort to make phones smaller while delivering bigger and better screens. And, last year LG beat most manufacturers to one of the biggest problems -- where to put the front-facing speakers. Because no one wants bottom-firing speakers you have to cup with your hand.

LG is keeping the boombox speaker on the bottom, which is incredibly loud, then added to it making it even better. With the LG G9 we're expecting the same "sound on display" technology. Basically using the entire 6.7-inch (or whatever size screen) as a giant speaker. The screen turns into one large soundstage to deliver crisp, clear, stunning audio toward the users face and ears. LG calls this "Crystal Sound OLED" or CSO technology. Click here to learn more. This isn't bone-conduction speakers, which are terrible. This is completely different.

The LG G9's entire screen will vibrate to produce sound with impressive volume. And because LG’s unique technology takes advantage of the entire display, CSO also improves clarity, making voices easier to discern and subtle musical notes more noticeable. Plus, you still get loud "bass" from the bottom subwoofer speaker. This delivers booming sound, 2-way stereo sound, along with the usual Quad-DAC processor.

Basically, the LG G9 will have likely have the best audio capabilities of any phone released in 2020.
