Install If You Like Customizing Your Galaxy S7

If you like to customize the look and feel of your phone, Android Oreo comes with some new customization options that might pique your interest.

Once you install Android Oreo you'll notice your lock screen clock now changes color to match the wallpaper you’re using on your device.

Samsung's version of Oreo also includes some brand new clock styles for your device's Always-On Display. They're found in the Clock hub.

Galaxy S7 Edge users will also gain access to new Edge lighting effects including a multi-color effect, a glow effect that makes the edges glow, and a glitter effect.

Your Oreo update should also come with custom colored folders to help you stay organized.

The only problem I’ve had after the update was a wifi authentication failure after it worked fine for several days. Rebooting my router and my S7 did nothing, and neither did “forgetting” the connection and re-entering my password. What finally did the trick was changing the wifi channel in my router. It was set to auto-select and I randomly picked channel 11 instead. Since then, I haven’t had the issue anymore.
