If you've taken a look at the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and you're comfortable with one or the other, think about putting in a pre-order for the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus.
If you go into a retailer like Best Buy right now you can go hands-on with the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. They aren't identical to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus but you can get a feel for what the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus will feel like in your hand or in your pocket. You can also get up close with their screen sizes (they share the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus) and their cameras (the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have better cameras). The iPhone X is more of an unknown and you'll be taking a chance if you go with the higher-end model. It has its perks but it doesn't come with Touch ID, a feature that we and many others love.

I really hoped that they might reveal more information about iPhone 8, like ram capacity. However most of the rumors that were floating around over the past few days were true. I love the fact that they implemented Face ID and Wireless charging. I will wait a little bit longer for detailed reviews of iPhone X before I order it.
