The developer is still working out some bugs but this Fallout 4 mod looks extremely promising. The Personal Craftable Vertibirds mod allows you to take advantage of the Brotherhood of Steel's ships without the necessary affiliation. You can simply build them via your settlement workshops and be on your way. Use them for travel or use them to protect your settlements, it's up to you.
