I love the rain so I'm all for a Fallout 4 mod that makes the in-game rain even more realistic. FO4 Rain is a texture mod that makes the rain in Fallout 4 look and act realistic. It also "retextures the ripples seen as rain hits the water to make them look more like rain is actually hitting the water and causing more of a disturbance." It looks and feels excellent and it's far more immersive than the vanilla version of Fallout 4's rain.
