If you've spent any time creating settlements (The Castle is a great example) you've probably come across ash piles, skeletons and more that you can't scrap or get rid of. With the Scrap Dead Things mod, you can do just that. This mod allows you to turn these items into fertilizer, bones and leather. You can even scrap dead Minutemen and settlers for marble. There are still some kinks that need to be worked out but this is excellent for scavvers like myself that always have a need for materials.
