If you don’t have Amazon Prime already, you can get a free trial. There are three main ways to get a month of Amazon Prime free, and you can even get a longer trial as a student or a lower price if you are an EBT or Medicaid cardholder.
- Start a free Amazon Prime Trial
- Get an Amazon Prime Student Trial
- Get the Prime Discounted Membership
Anyone can sign up for a free Amazon Prime Trial. This is a one month trial that automatically converts into a $12.99 a month plan when it ends. You can cancel without paying for a month, but you will have to remember to do it. If you’ve already used a free trial, you aren’t eligible to do this.
The Amazon Prime Student trial is open to students and it includes a six-month trial that converts to a $59 a year membership for four years after the trial ends. This is a great option for students. Unlike the Apple Education pricing and Back to School deals, it is only open to students.
The Amazon Prime Discounted Membership option includes a free 30-day trial and then you get Prime for $5.99 a month. This is open to users with an EBT card or Medicaid card. Click here to get started and validate for the discount.
The only other option to get free Prime is to share an Amazon Prime Account. This will share the shipping benefits and access to Prime Day with another adult in your house.
If you don’t qualify for any of these options, you can always sign up for a Month of Amazon Prime to get the deals and enjoy Amazon Prime Day 2019.
