iPhone 7s Release: 5 Things to Expect & 4 Things Not To

Published

on

With the iPhone 7s release date inching closer it’s important to set realistic expectations so you aren’t disappointed or caught off-guard by Apple’s announcements.

iPhone rumors continue to heat up as we approach the fall. Apple is reportedly planning three new iPhones including a flagship iPhone 8.

The other two devices are currently dubbed iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus but some believe they could be called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (with an iPhone 8 Pro) or simply iPhone and iPhone Plus (with an iPhone Pro).

The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus might not have the same internals as the flagship model but they should still suit the needs of many smartphone buyers. The two devices are rumored to have camera upgrades, the same processor as the iPhone 8, and large high-resolution displays.

While many people have their eye on the iPhone 8, others are interested in the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. Their rumored price points probably have something to do with that.

If you’re interested in picking up an iPhone 7s or iPhone 7s Plus you’re probably wondering when they’ll launch and when they’ll hit shelves. Apple hasn’t announced anything yet but we expect that to change in the near future.

This guide goes over a few things you can expect from the iPhone 7s release including a look at the release date, pre-orders, and a few things to keep in mind for release day.

If you’re in the hunt for a new phone, keep these things in mind as we approach the month of September.

Expect the iPhone 7s Launch in September

Expect the iPhone 7s Launch in September

You shouldn't have to wait too much longer for Apple to confirm the iPhone 7s launch date.

Nothing is confirmed but iPhone rumors point to an arrival sometime in September with a launch date currently rumored for September 12th

If Apple is planning a September launch event, and there's no reason to believe it's not at this point, invites should go out in the next few days. Last year, the company sent out invites for an early September event in late August.

Unless something drastic happens behind the scenes, it's safe to expect an iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus launch, and release, sometime in September. For some people.

Apple will almost certainly release the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus in stages. Countries like the United States always get new iPhones on day one while smaller markets typically have to wait.

Most countries got the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in 2016 but the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus didn't hit Indonesia until March of 2017.
