Wireless Charging

The iPhone X supports wireless charging, and it's one of the best smartphone features out there. You simply place your iPhone X on a charging mat and it will start charging. There's no need to mess with cords and cables, just place it down and you start charging up.

Apple is using Qi charging which means you will be able to use chargers that are already in use at coffee shops, airports, hotels and maybe even some that you already have at home.

Apple is also working on the AirPower charger that is coming out in 2018 that will allow you to set your iPhone X, Apple Watch 3 and AirPods with optional wireless charging case on to it in any way and they will all charge.

Once you experience wireless charging it is very hard to go back. We even see wireless charging support in many cars and trucks as a technology feature.
