Buy the Xbox One for Games that Will Come to the Series X

If you want to play games that come out this year before the Series X, you will need to be on the current generation of consoles. 

For gamers that aren't able to find the Series X or Series S, or who don't plan to buy one for months, you can get a free upgrade to most games that you buy for the Xbox One. 

Not all games support this, but we're seeing initial support coming in. EA is not joining this method, but they are offering a free upgrade option for Madden 21 with strings attached to when you buy the game and when you buy the console. 

Overall this is a solid reason to buy the Xbox One X or Xbox One S today, even if you plan to upgrade later this year or in early 2021.
