Mac Virtual Reality Support
Yes, it's finally happening. Mac VR support is coming with macOS High Sierra, but there is a catch.
You need the new iMac Pro or you'll need an external GPU to use the macOS High Sierra VR support at this time. If you buy this new iMac in late 2017 or get an external GPU, you will be able to experience VR on your Mac.
Apple describes the support as, "Along with key peripherals like the HTC Vive VR headset and apps like Final Cut Pro X, SteamVR, Epic Unreal 4 Editor, and Unity Editor, developers will have everything they need to create immersive new worlds for you to explore."
We'll learn more about how this will all work later this year.
