Watch Live Sports on the Apple TV

There are a lot of options to watch live sports on the Apple TV.

You will need subscriptions to watch Live sports on the Apple TV though. You may not need a cable subscription, but it will help.

You can download WatchESPN to watch sports on your Apple TV, you can use SlingTV, DirecTV Now and other services to get access to those games and channels.

There are also subscriptions and purchases for access to NBA, UFC, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, Fox Sports Go, NFL, NHL and other apps.

This is great if you need to watch in a room without a cable hookup or without a full cable subscription.

Didn’t like this article. From 19 things, 10+ were about the same…

I buy iTunes content on my iMac and then stream to the AppleTV via our ethernet router. I’ve never noticed any lag or need for buffering. However, if I’m just renting a movie, I’ll do it on the AppleTV using the same router. I do see buffering at that point, but I doubt that a bigger HDD is going to make any difference.
