New Mophie Cases Drop Battery, Adds iPhone 7 Wireless Charging
The newest Mophie cases no longer include batteries. Instead, the company behind the best known iPhone battery cases switches to a premium leather Mophie Charge Force case for the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that you can attach a battery to when you need more power. The new cases start at $49.95.
This major departure lets you carry a slimmer phone with you and charges your phone wirelessly in many new cars, in coffee shops, and on wireless charging stands at work and on your night stand. In addition to the new leather wrapped iPhone and Galaxy cases, Mophie announced the Charge Force Powerstation Mini that adds 3,000mAh of power to your iPhone 7 or Galaxy S8 when you need it, while still carrying a slim phone the rest of the time.

With the Mophie Charge Force iPhone 7 case you can wirelessly charge your iPhone.
To charge your iPhone 7 or Galaxy S8 with one of these cases on, you simply need to set it on a Charge Force accessory, Qi charger or other wireless charging solution. Magnets line up the case with the charger and start charging your phone. The Powerstation Mini includes a wireless charger. Each case connects to the phone with Lightning or USB C with an integrated design that means no cords are left hanging around the bottom of your phone. You can unplug this small connection at any time to connect to your computer, use a headphone adapter or other accessories.
The Charge Force Powerstation Mini includes pass-through charging, so you can use it as a wireless charging base station and then carry it with you when you need power on the go.
