GBM InkShow: OneNote Favorites Powertoy

image InkShowThe OneNote Team has done it again, this time with another Powertoy.  This powertoy is a must have for any OneNote user, especially for somebody that has a bunch of different places they need to be quickly.

In this InkShow I go over all aspects of the powertoy.  Starting out with a look at the menu’s and functionality.  After that, I take everyone through a live demo of this powertoy to show it in action.  Then as a surprise to me - they show up in a different place all together as well!!  But you’ll have to watch the show to see that one :)

GBM InkShow: OneNote Synchronization

InkShow Video Review OneNote 2007 Syncronization A frequent topic of discussion in our forums is that of synchronization. Due to the nature of mobile computing, It is an issue that affects all of us. The problem is, there are many solutions out there, but not all of them are best for syncing all file types.  For example, what is the best way to sync OneNote? Josh Einstein to the rescue.

In this InkShow, Josh Einstein, of Einstein Technologies / Tablet Enhancement for Outlook fame, goes in depth to show the various ways of syncing OneNote files across multiple computers and data connections. If you ever wanted to know about OneNote and syncing, this is your opportunity.

Our special thanks to Josh for producing this indepth InkShow and tackling this issue for us all. Please feel free to leave questions / comments. I’m sure Josh will do his best to answer them.

GottaBeMobile Software Inkshow: On The Road With OneNote Mobile

OnenotemobileOneNote Mobile has become on of the most used tools in my mobile arsenal. I’ve blogged about it several times (here and here) and thought I’d put together an InkShow featuring some of the ways I use the software that comes with OneNote 2007 in my daily work and play. Having OneNote Mobile handy can be a great relief when an idea hits and you just need to quickly jot down or record a note. I’ve been using the recording feature most often as that is the most convenient way of capturing my thoughts, especially when I’m out and about. Of course, having OneNote Mobile handy on my PPC 6700 can also be a burden to those around you at odd moments, as the Inkshow will plainly show. Thanks to my lovely wife for her patience. (I think its patience )

Note that if you are using the XP operating system you will need ActiveSync to install OneNote Mobile. If you are using Vista you will need the Windows Mobile Device Center installed. (Still in Beta.)

Enjoy!

OneNote 2007 - programming and usage information

Office2007_ltrI am not sure how many of you follow Daniel Escapa over at his blog, but he has been on fire today (maybe he has time because the TR is done and it’s getting ready to come out???).  He has been covering some changes to the API and asking for some user input.  He also has a post with a link on integrating OneNote with document management systems.

If you are a developer, or just want to read some info on what’s going on in the OneNote 2007 world, head on over and check out his blog – and give some feedback on the API docs as well!
