While you consider if the Apple Watch is worth buying or look for what you can do with your new watch this is what you need to know.

Answer Calls on the Apple Watch

Answer Calls on the Apple Watch

You can answer a call on your Apple Watch using it as a small Bluetooth speaker phone. You only want to use this for shorter calls because the audio quality isn't as good as when you are talking on speakerphone on your iPhone.

The Apple Watch only allows you to answer your calls on Speakerphone, so you won't want to use this all the time. It is very handy when you are working on a project or busy with your hands. Definitely be conscious of where you are taking calls. If you wouldn't talk on speakerphone, you shouldn't talk on your Apple Watch.

If you buy the new Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE, you can even make calls on the Apple Watch without your iPhone nearby. This requires adding the watch to your plan for $10 a month. You cannot answer a FaceTime video call on the Apple Watch.

On the settings screen there’s a button to ping your phone, so if it’s nearby you’ll hear it.

What’s more important, pushing your readers to another website because they were unable to read your article or lessening the impact of pop-up ad’s?

Thank you for a nice listing of the fetures of the AW. It confirmed that I have no use for one. Your list had some interesting points (Apple Pay: Not at my bank or any of my CC, and less than 1 in10 stores around here know what you’re talking about). It ran the gamut down to just silly items (Drawing on a 1 inch screen? My finger covers a third of it). But it was a nice confirmation of just how useless one would be for me. YMMV
