Apple Store Black Friday 2012 Teaser Appears Ahead of Deals

The Apple Store Black Friday deals for 2012 won’t kick off online and in stores until Friday November 23rd, but Apple is already teasing one day of savings.

MacRumors spotted the Apple Black Friday deals banner on Apple’s Australian Apple Store  Website, alerting shoppers to the one-day Apple shopping event.

The U.S. Apple store is not yet advertising any Apple Black Friday sales event, but we expect Apple will soon start telling U.S. shoppers about the special event, though most U.S. shoppers are already comparing ads and looking for the best Black Friday deals.

The Apple Store Black Friday deals are teased in a new banner.

Friday November 23rd is known as Black Friday in the U.S., it is a major shopping event which takes place annually on teh day after Thanksgiving, when retailers typically slash prices on hot items to draw shoppers in to crowded stores.

Apple did not announce any Apple Store Black Friday deals for 2012, but we expect sales similar to last year, with small savings. While Apple typically does not discount prices, this is one of the few times shoppers can save off the full retail price on Apple.com or in an Apple Store.

We expect deals similar to the following Apple Store Black Friday deals from last year.

  • $41 off the iPad 2
  • $21 off the iPod Touch
  • $11 off the iPod Nano
  • $100 off the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air
  • $100 off the iMac

Even though Apple deals are rare, shoppers can already score Five Apple Black Friday deals today, without dealing with crowds and waking up early.

The best Apple Black Friday deals for 2012 are from third-party retailers, and we should even see a few of them online. Retailers like Meijer and Walmart are offering a $100 gift card and $75 gift card with the purchase of an iPad 2, and Target is offering $40 to $60 in gift cards with the purchase of a new iPad.

iPod touch Black Friday deals include gift cards of up to $50 with the purchase of a new iPod touch 5th generation. The best iPod Nano Black Friday deal is for a $50 gift card at Meijer, with $20 gift card deals at most major retailers.
