It looks like the Galaxy Note is inching closer to a release on T-Mobile USA‘s 4G HSPA+ network. The handset, currently an AT&T exclusive with 4G LTE and HSPA+ connectivity on AT&T, will soon be making its way over t0 T-Mobile USA soon. There has been numerous leaks and rumors about the T-Mobile-bound handset within the last few months, and now we’re seeing some official press photos for the Note on T-Mobile emerge.
The handset will launch with support for T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network, and unlike the AT&T model there won’t be LTE support as T-Mobile does not have an LTE network yet.
The device is expected to debut on July 11 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
It doesn’t appear that there are additional details on the device at this time on the Note on T-Mobile.
The leak obtained by Cellphone Signal only mentions that the T-Mobile edition of the Note will be available in navy blue, so it looks like the white Note won’t be showing up on the network at this time.
Most recently, it looks like T-Mobile is planning some in-store demo units of the Note.
The Galaxy Note straddles the smartphone and tablet categories and has been referred to as a phablet in the past. The device has a 5.3-inch HD display, a digitizing pen, and can make and receive voice calls on carrier networks.
